The Agricultural Revolution December 14, 2006

In class today we looked at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution and how it was sparked by the Agricultural Revolution. As we read today, the Agricultural Revolution that occurred in England allowed for the dramatic changes in industry and the lives of individuals. People involved in the Agricultural community today, still use many of the skills and techniques developed during the Agricultural Revolution. Agriculture continues to evolve, sometimes radically as it did during the Green Revolution in the 20th century. As we reflect on our current situation in the agriculture industry, we must ask ourselves if we are on the verge of a new agricultural revolution and how will it affect us positively or negatively? Any comments?
Do not forget that we will be having “Historical Movie Night” next Wednesday at 7:00.

The annual Bengough School Culture Day is next week. The theme for the day this year is the Vikings. The History 10 class is busy finishing posters based on some of the Norse Gods.
